LAKE VÄTTERN SELF GUIDED BIKING ADVENTURE
In the south-western part of Sweden, you’ll find its second largest lake—Lake Vättern—with its fertile shoreline and surrounding farmlands. This area offers a wonderful environment for biking adventures, with quiet country roads, sleepy towns and many hidden lakes and old mansions. Our bicycle route takes us from the beautiful lake front town of Motala through the countryside surrounding the northern part of the lake. Passing several small villages and towns along the way as well as Tiveden National Park, you make your way around the lake to the town of Karlsborg, where you take a boat ride back to Motala.
