Every summer there are 100 days without night north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden! Here you can see the midnight sun from the middle of June to the end of July. Discover the beauty and splendor of the midnight sun in the mountains around Saltoluokta in Lapland and enjoy the views from the mountain top of Lulep Gierkav with an altitude of 1139 meter or from the great moors of Ultevis. This journey takes you to the Laponia World Heritage Site, where you get to experience 24 hrs of day light, great hiking, and the Sami culture.
Is it for me?
This trip offers an easy hiking experience, with short hikes in varied terrain, with both climbs and descents. You stay mostly on designated trails. You should be in good physical condition.

Location:
This trip takes place in the mountains of northern Sweden in Lapland province, on the outskirts of Laponia World Heritage Site. The trip starts and ends in Luleå on northern Sweden's eastern coast. Luleå can be easily reached by train or flight from Stockholm.
