This horseback adventure takes place in southern Sweden's highlands. Ride through remote areas rich in moose, wild boar, deer, fox and lynx as well as owl and eagle. Explore deep, enchanted woods, with great opportunities for trotting and cantering, clear lakes and scenic overlooks. Pass old homesteads and beautiful farms in an area rich in culture and history. Spend one evening enjoying a wilderness gourmet feast at a secluded site and listen to fairytales around the campfire after a day of great riding, before returning to the comfortable rooms at the farm.
Is it for me?

You should be comfortable at a walk, trot and canter and enjoy varied terrain on horseback. The first day will be an introductory day with instruction in horsemanship and getting to know your horse.

Before galloping we make sure rider and horse understand each other and work well together. There is plenty of time for nice, long canters anyway.
The saddles are first and foremost Swedish Cavalry saddles, but there are also a few Western and Australian saddles. As a bridle, a side pull bridle is used which can be considered in between a halter and hackamore. Long western-style reins are used for contact with the horse.
