ARCHIPELAGO SEA KAYAK ADVENTURE - Camping
Enjoy a 3-day archipelago adventure, just north of Stockholm, where you'll experience a different world in the heart of Roslagen Archipelago. Start from Västernäs in the island of Rådmansö and paddle in the exciting borderland of the inner and outer archipelago. The unique environment in this region is protected as a nature preserve and the islands are rich in history and culture. The pace is calm so that you can really enjoy the paddling and the wonderful atmosphere this region offers. Small groups of up to 12 people makes this experience unforgettable for both beginners and advanced kayakers alike.
Is it for me?
This trip is rated intermediate. Prior kayaking experience is good to have, but not required. You paddle between 10 and 15 kilometers per day and spend 2 nights camping on the islands. In order to enjoy your trip to the fullest extent, it’s great to work on your upper body strength prior to departure. This is a great adventure for those of you looking to add some activity to your Stockholm visit.

Inclusions:
2 nights of camping with tents and sleeping pad, all meals (2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners) knowledgeable guide and sea kayaking equipment.

International or domestic airfare, transportation to/from the starting location, pre and post trip hotel accommodations, sleeping bag, personal purchases, travel insurance, alcoholic beverages.

Accommodations:
Enjoy 2 nights of camping on an archipelago island. Tents and sleeping pads are provided, but you need to bring your own sleeping bag.
The Kayaks:
Choose from a variety of sea kayak models - from fast 1-person kayaks to stable 2-person kayaks.
Meals:
Enjoy hearty meals cooked over an open fire in an island setting, with fresh and local ingredients. All meals are included from lunch on day 1 to lunch on day 3. |
