ARCTIC MOUNTAINS KAYAKING ADVENTURE
Download PDF Detail Document
Bare mountain summits, glaciers and turquoise water are a few things we will see kayaking in the Laponia World Heritage Site and the alpine mountain environment from Sitasjaure up to Bovrojavri. Tours in this area can also mean hard winds, fog and a lot of work, but kayaking is worth the effort. In the western mountain areas of Lapland we steer our kayaks up towards the Norwegian border. In stages we get higher and higher until we are above timberline and it feels like the mountains surrounding us are majestic theatre sets.
