Discover the beatiful and serene waterways of the arctic northern Sweden, as you make your way towards the mountains of Laponia World Heritage Site. Starting in the small village of Porjus we travel westward along the river Stora
Lule. During four days we will paddle through forest and hills with the
mountains slowly getting visible at the horizon. The waterway to Björkudden
is a beautiful experience with small treats of excitements and peaceful nights
around the campfire.
Is it for me?
This trip is rated moderate. You should be in good physical condition. Prior kayaking experience is good to have but not mandatory. You should have good outdoor experience and be flexible.

Enjoy 2 night in cabins, 3 nights camping and 1 night in a mountain lodge.
The Kayaks:
The kayaks are sea kayak models.
Meals:
All meals are included from dinner on day 1 to lunch on day 7. Enjoy local Lapland specialties and great wilderness meals.
Location:
This trip takes place in the mountains of northern Sweden in Lapland province, on the outskirts of Laponia World Heritage Site. The trip starts and ends in Luleå on northern Sweden's coast. Luleå can be reached by train or flight from Stockholm. |
