ARCTIC CIRCLE WINTER ADVENTURE
Winter in northern Sweden offers a special experience for the adventurous souls. To just be in this region above the Arctic Circle at a time of the year when many places on the same latitude are inhospitable, is quite an experience in itself. To feel the power of the cold and to walk across the glistening snow and the frozen water is very cool.
Is it for me?
This trip is rated easy to moderate. You should be in good physical condition and enjoy outdoor activities in winter. Typical temperatures in the winter is around 5 degrees Fahrenheit, but it can vary from -30 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit (-35 to +5 Celcius). The weather can vary from sunny days to snow and wind.

5 days / 4 nights - 1 day of dog sledding, 1 day wildlife safari, 1 day cross country skiing and Sami visit.

Location:
This winter adventure takes place in and around Jokkmokk in central Lapland. The nearest airport is in
Luleå, and transportation is provided from and to the airport. The flight from Stockholm takes about 1,5 hours. You can also travel by train and bus, if you wish to experience some beautiful Swedish country side on the way.
