Svea’s concept is simple – to offer you a true Scandinavian experience. We carefully research the best of adventure and responsible travel that Scandinavia has to offer and we test most of the trips ourselves. Some of the adventures we offer were developed using guidelines created by the Swedish Ecotourism Society. We firmly believe in sustainable travel and leaving no trace behind.

The destinations we offer are beautiful, breath-taking, majestic, remote, intact and serene. We hope to keep them this way. The adventures are different – travel to destinations you never knew existed and enjoy experiences you never thought were possible. Discover Europe's last wilderness areas by foot, horse, bike or kayak, while the sun barely sets below the horizon.

Accommodations are based on character and location and range from quaint inns to simple huts and cabins in the mountains or a nice camp spot in the woods. Meals are based on local flavors and traditions. These are usually prepared for you by your guides or a local restaurant, but occasionally you're invited to take part in the preparation, learning about unique ways or ancient traditions.

Transportation varies by region and can include private vans, horses, bicycles, kayaks, your own two feet and the occasional canoe. Local culture and natural history are part of your adventure. Your guides are enthusiastic about sharing their heritage and knowledge with you. Adventure travel is about participating, learning something new, experiencing different cultures and bringing home memories that can change your life.
